Stacey is co-founder/developer of Lifestyle Transformation, a treatment program for food addiction. She authored the recently released book, My Food Addiction Recovery Plan, a workbook designed to jumpstart recovery. Stacey created the curriculum and 13 workbooks used in the successful Lifestyle Transformation program.

Stacey is also the co-owner of a successful psychotherapy practice and a marriage and family therapist, providing individual, couples and group therapy, as well as clinical supervision to interning therapists.

With obesity rates at 70% of adults and 18% of children in the United States and the accompanying obesity-related diseases and health costs, Stacey is concerned about the future of our country. As a psychotherapist and national speaker and trainer on food addiction treatment, Stacey is passionate about being part of the movement to provide the missing piece to the obesity epidemic in our county; food addiction treatment. With a background in addiction treatment, Stacey’s confidence in the human spirit’s ability to rise above addiction fuels her optimism that people can and do recover from food addiction.

“We must stop trying to treat obesity with diets! Diets don’t treat addiction. Food addiction treatment treats food addiction.”
